Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Buxton Public School is a welcoming and inclusive community, surrounded by nature and built on curiosity, connection, and a love of learning. We provide a safe, supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our motto, “We Care,” reflects our strong commitment to students, families, and the wider community. Our dedicated staff work together to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences that support and challenge every student.
We proudly acknowledge and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, working with local Elders to ensure all learners feel respected and culturally connected.
At Buxton, we value strong partnerships with families and warmly welcome parent involvement in all aspects of school life.
