CONTACTING CLASS TEACHERS
While teachers are very willing to speak to parents, the teachers cannot leave their class to do so. If you wish to speak privately to a teacher on matters concerning your child's well being, please request an interview for a mutually convenient time, usually during teacher's release time. Bell times in the morning and immediately in the afternoon are not appropriate times as teachers are responsible for their class and need to support and supervise the children.
Where a parent needs to contact the school, via the telephone, the school clerical assistants, who are in a position of trust and confidentiality, will deal with important matters appropriately.
